Blending Our Futures

Wow, what amazing whirlwind of a year it’s been for the team at Blending Our Futures!

What started as a 2 am idea from a mum wanting to help her neurodivergent daughter and two other young ladies into employment, has evolved into us being Gawler’s leading employer for people with disability.

From one little Coffee Trailer to now having three mobile coffee options and an inclusively staffed cafe, supporting almost 30 people with disabilities with award wage paid employment and training pathways.

We have also recently expanded our programming and services to include in-home and community supports.

And now, we are very excited to share the news…

That in July, we are expanding further and opening a second cafe exclusively for traineeships and hospitality based short courses. While we can’t quite share the details, we are impatiently waiting until the day we can let you all know where and when you will find us at our new location.

But, stay tuned because that is not the only exciting update that is coming…

Thank you so much for all of your support over the last 12 months. We are so proud of what we have achieved and are continuing to do for people with disabilities in our community.

This mission is very close to my heart and those that know me are well aware of the sacrifices and time that has gone into making this happen. But every customer, every like on a post, every share of our social media, all makes a big difference in supporting a wonderful team to grow in skills, in confidence and most importantly in their self-worth. There is no price that you can put on that.
